After School Sports Clubs
Our sports leader Alex Spiers and our PE lead Gemma Butler plan sporting opportunities for the children after school throughout the week. Over the year the sports and activities on offer change to include children's favourites and we offer a broad range of activity that is open to all. Alex leads some of the clubs, externally sourced coaches lead some of the clubs and all clubs are supported by colleagues in school that the children know.
Children have the opportunity to develop their skills in different sports, have the chance to have fun and keep fit and healthy. Often, there are opportunities for children to take part in wider competitions where they apply their sporting skill and teamwork!

At Arbourthorne School we offer a range of fun and engaging after school sports opportunities for our children. Children enjoy taking part in a number of sports, from gymnastics to hockey! We pride ourselves in giving all children the opportunity to represent our school in local competitions and leagues. We recognise the importance of being part of a team and committing to learning and developing skills to find and fulfil our sporting potential and we work on building character which helps to embed values such as fairness and respect.
