Action Stations

Action Stations is one of our favourite initiatives because it encourages applicants to come up with some amazing ideas that will impact their local Community! Apply for a small grant of up to £250 to deliver a project that simply helps to make lives better. The scheme is funded by charitable donations and fundraising from our partner organisations. 

Action Stations have included pupil applications, parent applications and community applications. One pupil wanted to buy a Buddy Bench for anyone who feels a little bit lonely or for anyone who wants to make some new friends! A parent applied for a grant to fund hampers for families and one parent has set up a little library exchange, a group of pupils established a fairy garden in a quiet area, a craft group was established by a group of parents to develop crafting skills and one parent established a clothes exchange.  Some people have developed their small business idea with a grant (cake baking, sweet hampers and pamper sets).
