Family Feast - Family Feast runs once a month and welcomes families to a fine dining experience with delicious recipes, cooked by a team of parent volunteers. We have enjoyed delicious meals such as:
- Pasta Bake
- Quesadillas
- Curry
- Picnics
- Fajitas
- Soup
- & More!
WICA - Women in Community Action are a group of women who get together once a week to do good deeds within the community. The group have established within the Community and do some truly amazing work. They are change makers and inspire those around them, providing pathways for women to follow. Some of their work has included:
- Litter Picking
- Community Events
- Summer Fayre's
- Christmas Events
- Surveys in the Community
- & More!
Horticulture Show - The Horticulture Show is an event which takes place before we return to school in September. The event celebrates food, nutrition, growing, wellbeing and gives children a chance to meet their new teachers and friends. At the show we have:
- Alpacas and Llamas
- Growing Competition
- Baking Competition
- Raffle Prizes
- Handheld Animals
- Fresh Lemonade Stall
- Second Hand Books
- Adopt a Teddy
- Bric a Brac Stalls
- Local organisations promoting all things green and growing!
- Fun games
- Food Stalls with fresh produce
- & More!
Hub Schools Network - Arbourthorne Community Primary School has been involved with the Hub Schools Network. This is a cooperation between hub schools which are seeking different ways to engage and collaborate with their families and community to meet needs, provide opportunities and build capacity using the school, it's facilities and resources as a 'hub'.
